Jenny - not to be disrespectful to your vet, but it isn't actually true that "nothing can be done", because we can ALWAYS pray, and many prayers have been answered when there was no hope left whatsoever. Of course, we know that everything is completely up to God, His Holy Will, but we are always encouraged to pray, to ask His help, and that of the Saints and Blesseds. I'm sure this is very difficult news for you and I can tell how very special your Spike is, so I just want you to know that perhaps the vet feels there is nothing they can do, but Jenny there is something we can do for Spike, and that is to continue to pray . . . it is so very powerful, and I will be praying with you for your sweet Spike, and if you don't mind, please tell Spike that I am very much praying for him, for the two of you. I'm not giving up, Jenny, and I hope you'll join me, and I know that all the prayer warriors here will be praying, too. I just "know" it :). Hugs, love, and prayers, and positive healing energies to Spike. Jenny, someone very near and dear to me a long time ago was very very ill, near death . . . we were told there simply was nothing that could be done . . . . that person lived another 37 wonderful years. Human, feline, canine . . . makes no difference, Jenny, and I'm keeping your Spike boy in my many prayers. My Ted had Avery low thyroid level but with medication he is back to his old self. No tumor was found in fact no reason could be found but we have him back so I believe there may always be hope. I hold you in my prayers Trevor
