. I had not heard anything further for several weeks after the initial prayer request for Franky, the St. Bernard, in danger of being euthanized and from what I'm gathering in overall danger in his current situation. I just got an e-mail from the gentleman who is working so valiantly with a group of folks in their town to protect Franky, and apparently another dog with Franky. A very sad situation indeed. This group working for Franky has secured good homes that would welcome both Franky and another dog who truly are in grave danger in their current situation. Unfortunately the hearing/town hall meeting had been delayed these last weeks for some type of administrative reason, but is now scheduled for Monday evening, 4/23, and prayers are requested on behalf of Franky and his canine pal. So sad as the family who currently have Franky and other dog are described as very 'disturbed and dysfunctional' and they see the entire issue as more them against authority, and have no concern for the well-being of either dog. Truly heart-wrenching. If you could just repeat the original post for prayers for Franky and his canine pal - would be so appreciated. I'm dashing at the moment and when I got word thought I'd update you right away. Thanks so much ..., and always God Bless you for this precious ministry for our precious pets, especially those in danger and need.

Updating Continued Prayer Request for Franky the St. Bernard: Just received additional news from the situation with Franky. Please continue to pray. The situation is unfortunately quagmired in extensive "red tape" so to speak with ongoing legal proceedings and appeals, back and forth, and Franky is the one who is suffering. Recent news is that most recent legal meeting rules that Franky must be removed from the owner. Two individuals working on Franky's behalf have located good homes for him; the authorities promised that they will make contact for these folks to take Franky; however, owner is appealing again. Very very sad situation. Please continue to pray.
