Dear Lord, please hold Mollie close in your healing and loving embrace and encourage Mollie to eat her food so she can have her injections and return her to wellness please; thank You, Lord.

Thoughts and prayers are with you Donna and your precious Mollie.

For Donna's Mollie, St. Jude, Blessed Francis Seelos, St. Roch, St. Francis, please intercede in encouraging Mollie to begin eating again, encourage her appetite so that she can receive her injections to help her back to wellness. Please take her into your comforting, healing embrace.

Hi Donna,

Certainly praying for Molly here.

I recently wrote this post for someone else and wanted to send it to you.

(We started the supplement mentioned at the end last Thursday and think it's great!)

Trying to think of a few helpful things. There is a medication called mirtazapine which is quite helpful with nausea and stimulating the appetite. Look it up and ask your vet.

Easy to digest proteins....Greek yogurt, boiled chicken, eggs, cottage cheese, brown rice...oatmeal.

If stools are loose or constipated, canned pumpkin regulates. Just a teaspoon or so at a time. Look for canned pumpkin, not canned pumpkin pie.

I am sure she will sleep a lot and she will heal just by being with you!

Just learned of this supplement. http://www.wysong.net/products/pdg-dog-cat-supplement.php

I am dealing with a somewhat similar situation and this is a way to increase appetite, put on weight without changing from the foods a dog is used to and likes. It has all kinds of good stuff in it in a powder form. You will find other info on other sites on it too. I learned this from a pet store owner who works with holistic vets.

Sometimes mixing up location of eating/lying down/a different bowl or plate helps too.

God bless you and Mollie!
