Sad News - Molly the Cat

From Claire:
Hi guys I was wondering if u could say a prayer for my darling little cat Molly. She was taken from me on Friday night she was half eaten by a fox and thankfully my mum found her body yesterday morning and we were able to bury her and say goodbye. I miss her so so much and she will be in my heart forever.

Claire, I am so sorry, that is so sad.

May the Good Lord hold you close in His comforting embrace as you mourn the earthly loss of your much loved, now missed, kitty,♥Molly♥.

God bless you.

Dearest Claire, my deepest sympathy for your precious Molly, I am so very sorry. May the angels have carried Molly's spirit directly to Heaven, but still I know your heart is breaking with this trauma.
Please know that Molly knows how you loved her so and I believe she will find a most special way to remain with you in spirit until you are united again some day. Yes, your Molly will always be with you.
My hugs, thoughts, and many prayers are with you at this difficult time, and be assured of many prayers for your precious Molly.

Lord,
We know, because you have told us,
that this vale of tears is not the world You originally created it to be! It is a distorted place, but You have given All to bring us hope.

We sometimes go through terrible trials and grief in our time here.
We must labour very hard.
You know the depths of our heartbreak, because You chose to be born as a man to bear it with us and for us, and because You live gently in our innermost hearts, and know us as no one else can.

Lord, please look down on Claire, whose heart is broken. May she know that You are weeping with her: not for Molly who is now safe beyond the reach of all earthly trouble, but for Claire's grief and pain.
Pour healing balm on her memory, and on her mother's memory.

Lord, hold her close, wipe the tears from her eyes,
and tell her about Your Holy Mountain, where no one harms or destroys, where the wolf lives with the lamb and the lion eats straw like the ox.
Give her a portion of Your peace.

It may be that, in the future, you will encourage Claire to comfort someone else one day, or inspire her with a way to help prevent needless killing, or do some other good work.
If there is a particular job you would like Claire to do, please teach her about it when she is healed and ready.

Amen
