Prayer Request for Mr. Black

From Manoo:I'm sending a prayer request for Mr. Black here. He is about 9-10 years old dog - the oldest in our area. He is among many others living on the street. Last month a car hit him and he has been difficulty walking ever since. The problem is with his front right shoulder bone ; it has also affected the nerves in the right leg. He has no sensation there at all. He has been living in a dog boarding for about 2 weeks now, under medical supervision. We will bring him back on the street by 11th November. Now, the vet says that healing related to the nerves takes a lone time or it can be never healed. I request you to please pray for him so he gets healed and is able to live comfortably on the street just the he has always lived - he is the 'don' of the area. I'm sending his pictures too. Please pray for Tommy the cat. He's a feral cat which means he doesn't allow humans to touch him, but he's disabled and would sleep by our bedroom window. We fed him and gave him a place to sleep. We moved recently and it wouldn't be safe for us to bring him with us as many of the yards have big dogs and Tommy doesn't know which yards are safe. My aunt that owned the home we were living in wants Tommy out and doesn't want him around. Please pray that she have a change of heart, that the neighbors will keep up feeding him as we asked, and that he be kept safe. Thank you!

Prayer Request for Shag Carpet the Cat & all animals out in the terrible snow storm

...Will anyone willing to say a prayer tonight for my stray? We call him "shag carpet" because he more or less looks like one. He is a feral adult who wants nothing to do with us, but we provide shelter and food for him. Tonight we are having a very severe snow storm, and my husband and I accidentally frightened him out of his shelter! He ran out and down the road, and the storm is supposed to go all night =( We shoveled so that he would have an easier time getting back in, and have come inside to avoid scaring him again. PLEASE ask for intercession on his behalf. Thank you!

Dear Friends: Kathleen is a homeless woman who is permitted by the humane society to keep cats. She loves them very much. She had to be admitted to the hospital the other day. The humane society will be taking care of her beloved cats but only for 9 days. Please pray for them and especially for Kathleen to get better. Mahalo!

Urgent Prayer Request for all the Homeless Animals Out in Frigid Weather

my heart is breaking tonight as I am thinking of the many four-legged friends sadly outside tonight in these frigid January temperatures. I am sadly not permitted to take any in, and there is a particular family of feral cats that frequent the neighborhood, and searching my heart I thought of the power of prayer and the prayer warriors who gather here at your special site. I know that a neighbor puts food out for them on a regular basis, how much I'm not certain :(, and they do have a type of shelter structure out for them, but it has been brutally cold last night and tonight and my heart is breaking for them, and all our four-legged friends who may be out on their own. I had phoned several agencies and they actually said they do not want to hear about this (!), frustrating at best. Could a prayer request be possibly posted for prayers for this feline family and all the feline, canine, equine . . . . friends who are in similar situations? Thanks so much, Esther! This is so very sad for me, but knowing the power of prayer perhaps many of our Saints, Blesseds, and Holy Angels will be able to intercede and keep watch and help these unfortunate ones. Hello! My name is Bam & I’m a 7 year old male cat (neutered). My mom recently passed away & I’m in need of a forever home. She never came home from the hospital and I’m still living in her condo in Hawaii Kai all by myself. My new friends are taking care of me for now and are making sure that I go to the right home because my mom really loved me. I’m a lot overweight & would need help with my diet and getting enough exercise. I was adopted from the Humane Society when I was just 5 weeks old & haven’t been around other animals since then.

Thank you for all your Prayers; Just an update on Poor Babe the kitty And it is not good news She is still in the park it has been raing and very cold. Her daddy did find a place for a little while but then then something happened and now she is back in the park and when on the neighbors said that they would kill her and cut her up in little pieces if they find her.I have been looking and looking for her most of the evening and praying and crying Please help her pray that we I will find her and be able to find her a home I don't even know where her daddy is.I can not even have her at my house. There is a poor older kitty in the park, where I live named Babe, she is 9 yrs. her owner is a homeless man,I think he is on drugs. Not for sure but he leaves her in the park everyday. It is very very cold and it is now raining. Most of the time when I go to work she is there, I have been feeding her. and then sometimes at night when I come home she is there always waiting for him. he says at nighttime she sleeps in his sleeping bag with him at his friends house. He's says that he has had her her hole life and they have been homeless for the last 4 yrs. I m just so very worried about her. As I can not have any kittys,I already got into trouble for having some stray kittys Please pray that the lord will incessered for this poor kitty babe and her daddy as I'm not sure what to do.I know the lord will take care of them as no problem is too big or too small for the lord and ask and you shall recieve and have faith and trust in the lord. Special and Urgent Prayer Request for Stella the Cat

... a dear friend contacted me today about a difficult situation involving a cat she befriended at a veterinary office where she helps out. The cat lived at the veterinary office but sadly the staff has really not connected with her. Stella had a recent surgery this past weekend and now is in need of a loving place to call home while she heals. My friend is only allowed to have one cat in her current living situation and sadly may not take another cat in.

She is hoping and praying to find someone who can take in dear Stella for her recovery (expenses paid) where Stella can be loved and cared for as she should. They are in the Chester County area of Pennsylvania. While my heart is breaking because I am not permitted to have any pets here, my friend asked if I knew of any suggestions that might help. I did give her some suggestions where she might try, but I also wanted to post you of the situation in hope that with the power of prayer we could seek holy intercession for Stella's situation - for Lyn to find someone who can shelter and love Stella.

Lyn has such a beautiful way with our many four-legged friends. This cat has not known a happy loving life...

Prayer Request for All Animals in Need of a Loving Home

I have been meaning to write to you for quite awhile now but have had my hands pretty full with Schonda and a recent addition Echo. As per the email below you will remember that I asked you to pray for Schonda and I am happy to say that she is okay and whilst we still never established what was wrong, we are just happy to see her well again. Of course we will keep close watch of her but I am just so grateful to see her happy. About a month later my family and I came to the decision we needed to find a companion for Schonda, as whilst we were giving her all the love and attention she needed, we felt that she still missed the love of a companion. So we went back to the shelter and got another little mini foxy x called Echo and whilst approximately 3 years younger then Schonda they seem to compliment each other. All I can say is they are absolutely smitten with each other and it just warms my heart to see the sadness start to disappear from their eyes. Of course I dont think it will ever disappear as sadly 8 and 5 years of abuse will do that to a dog but to see them trust, love,play and wag their tails again is such a joy. Indeed I believe that Taz and Vlooi sent them to me, as they have brought love and happiness back to my heart when I was certain it was gone after the loss of my precious Taz and Vlooi. Indeed adopting a rescue dog is very rewarding and whilst challenging at times as each rescue animal has issues, I like to think that im doing it in memory of my Taz and Vlooi and I like to know that I am showing these two lovely little creatures that regardless of their past we love them and they are a part of our family. For it saddens me to think that some dogs live their lives never knowing what its like to be loved or part of a family and so I am so grateful that I can prevent this from happening with these two rescue dogs. Therefore I pray that all animals know they are loved and know what its like to be part of a family and I continue to pray for my Taz and Vlooi who will always have my heart. It is nearly 5 months since I lost both of them and the pain is still so raw as my babies were something special and they will always be part of me. Otherwise Esther I pray that you are well and that God Bless you for being that source of comfort for so many animal lovers.

Urgent Prayer Request for Mossy the Cat Who Needs a Home

Good evening Esther,
Please pray for Mossy, a black cat with mossy green eyes to find a new, stable, forever, home, with cat people who will really appreciate his loving nature. He lives in Ireland and it would be nice if he stayed in the country or even on the track where he now lives. He was rescued from almost being run over and hungry in Dublin. His now owner is unable to keep him, and is heartbroken as we believe a pet is a forever commitment, as a child is. We can't bear the thought of him going to a shelter or from place to place. Mossy is a real little Angel and has already in his short life brought joy and lessons in life learned to the people he has touched. Thanks be to God for our helping, teaching animals. Thank you...

Please keep Mossy and all our pets in need of good homes in your prayers. We especially invoke the intercession of St. Joseph to find Mossy a good home as soon as possible, if it be God's Will.

Urgent Prayer Request for an Emaciated Cat

Please keep a little cat my husband found yesterday. She seemed to be very weak and could hardly keep her head up. The Humane Society intake person said she may not have eaten in a long time. She seemed to know my husband wanted to help her.

Prayer Request for Warehouse Cats

I had requested some prayers for some warehouse cats back in November, in particular, Grey and White adult cat, a Grey and White kitten, a Black and White adult cat, and anyone in the vicinity who was negatively affected by some mean-spirited people. I am asking that those cats are safe, that I am able to find them and give them wonderful homes. It is especially difficult now since I can only go on the outskirts of where they may be. I am especially upset because they are no longer being fed and the winter has been horrible around here. I know the chances of finding them are very small. I am hoping against hope that there are some powerful loving forces out there that will help me find them safe. Please help.
