Sad News Noel the Dog

From Hallie:
I posted on your site originally in August 2011, about prayers for my sweet golden retriever Holly, who had mouth cancer. I sent in an update on January 24, 2012, with the news that she had passed and that our remaining dog (a chihuahua), Noel was in poor health. Well, our sweet Noel passed away this afternoon after 15 years with our family. I was able to see her today and she passed in her sleep sometime after I left to come back to college this afternoon, as she was already gone by the time my mom got home from work. We're all heartbroken, especially with the one year anniversary of losing our Holly being Thursday. However, we are thankful that she passed peacefully in her sleep and that we didn't have to make the decision to let her go. We miss her terribly already, so please pray for our grieving family. She was a huge part of our family for a long while. She came home to us at 6 weeks of age when I was in Kindergarden (I'm now a junior in college), so I've grown up with her my whole life. We miss our baby Noel, but we're so thankful she's not suffering anymore. Thank you,

May the Good Lord hold you and your family in His comforting embrace as you mourn the earthly loss of your much loved Chihuahua, Noel.

God bless you for the many years of care and love that you gave to Holly and Noel and the joy they gave you in return.

Comforting thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Hallie.

God bless you all.

Oh Hallie, I am so very very sorry for your precious loss . . . . all those years together . . . yes the void is so difficult to bear just now. My prayers are on the way for you and your entire family, and especially for both your Noel and Holly, may Perpetual Light shine upon them and they know every joy of Heaven.
Oh my goodness, it does sound very much like your Noel waited to be sure to see you before she slipped away with the angels, God Bless her.
I believe that because of the very special bond you have shared with both Noel and Holly, they will remain very close to you in spirit, they knew your love and devotion. So I know it's so very difficult to say these earthly goodbyes, Holly and Noel both will always have a paw on your heart. God Bless.
