Thank you and others for your kind prayers. It breaks my heart to tell you but my beautiful Niko had to be put down yesterday. His condition had worsened to the point where he was suffering . It was the hardest decision in my life that I've made. I miss him so much it's unbearable. I had to let him go. He was barley awake before they came, I laid with him for hours before on the couch. I pet his head, and kissed him and told him how much i love him, his eyes were closed and his breathing was very shallow. the vet came to my house and my husband and I held him and told him we loved him and to go in peace. He is gone now and I pray to see him again when it is my time to go. I found comfort in you posting the prayers for him and I am very thankful.I know if your kindness you will be praying for Bianca. Bianca, I know the physical loss is so overwhelming just now but please know your Niko is truly not gone. I believe with all my heart that Niko is just 'on the other side' and his spirit will live on with you because of all the love you shared with him. Niko will find a most special way to let you know he is still very much with you, and then yes in time you will be reunited with Niko once again. Bless you.
