St. Felix of Nola is regarded as a martyr even though he was not put to death. He is regarded as a martyr because he endured everything for love of Jesus, especially much torture.
St. Paulinus of Nola once overheard a peasant praying at the tomb of St. Felix of Nola. He was praying because his oxen had been stolen and he wanted St. Felix to bring them back. "Restore these same animals. I shall not accept any others." When the peasant returned home he found all his oxen safely in their stalls. Since then he is venerated as the patron saint who finds and returns lost animals.
His feast day is January 14th.

Please say a prayer for a lost black cat named Lenny. He was last seen in the Emerson Hills/Spring St. area of Staten Island NY on Sunday May 31, 2015. He got out by accident. He is not familiar with being on the street. He was wearing a red collar. He's all black and has no special markings. He's a very sweet little boy who loves his family and a morning tummy rub and we are in such fear for him. We pray for his safe return but that at least he's safe and happy and loved and not hungry, frightened or hurt in anyway.
I pray for everyone here who knows the agony of losing a loved one, pet or human. This is a wonderful site.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and of course thank to St. Felix of Nola. Lenny has been seen near his house. He looks fine. His beautiful black coat is still healthy and shining and he doesn't appear to be hurt or hungry. We believe in the power of prayer so Lenny's family and I truly thank you all so much.
We still need to get him all the way in the house and back home so if I can please ask you to still keep Lenny and his family in your prayers that they should be united inside their home. His human mommy and daddy want him back inside so he can be kept safe and full and healthy and are trying to figure out a way to get him inside without Lenny's cat brothers and sisters getting outside or raccoons or field rats getting inside. This is why they can't just leave the door wide open for him or they would. Lenny is also wise to cat cages and he's not likely to go into one again. So please still keep Lenny and his loved ones in your prayers until Lenny is back inside his home again, sleeping in his own little bed and getting his mommy to give him his morning tummy rubs.
We pray for the safe return of all those here who have missing little ones. This is an agony no one should have to go through.

Thank you again for your prayers. Little Lenny came close to the door of his home but as soon as he heard the door open he ran. At least his family knows he's okay and eating the food his mommy puts out. I'm asking for your prayers again for Lenny to find his way, all the way, back into his home and to give his family the strength to cope with the heartbreak of not being able to get him safely back into the house until he is back inside.

Please pray for Lulu, she is lost in ABBEVILLE, South Carolina. Lulu recently underwent surgery and had to have her leg amputated. She got away from the vet and has been missing for 10 days! Many are searching for Lulu in the woods, and dogs have picked up her trail. Dogs are scared of loud noises and the fireworks will start soon! Please help us pray for the safe and speedy return of Milo, he is our family and he was my mothers company. I had given Milo to her after my grandmother passed away. He had gotten out of hole he found in the fence that my mother did not know of and then someone stole him. Milo was taken to a local veterinarian who claimed they tried to call us but that is not true. A young lady found him and took him to the veterinarian and then called from a flyer to say she dropped Milo off there. He is was then given to someone because the veterinarian said they did not want to send him to the dog pound. I spoke with the lady on several occasion pleading for her to give me Milo back and she said she did not have him. The veterinarian called her and told her we were there to claim Milo and thats how we came to know of her. She refuses to give him back and we have no idea where she lives. Milo is a Shih Tzu and he is one sweet lil guy. I pray and would like help praying that God will soften her heart or the heart of whomever has Milo and have her/them reach out to us to return our family member. Milo is not just a dog or a pet he is truly FAMILY!

Please pray for my cat Priscilla to come home. She's been missing since December 10, 2015. I forgot to put her inside before my husband went to walk our dogs. She had started following us on our dog walks which was really cute, but we didn't feel comfortable with her venturing that far from the house. She came to us in Aug. of 2014 with her 4 kittens. I had her spayed as soon as it was safe to and then found loving homes for the kittens. We tried to make her an inside cat only but weren't successful since she came from the outside to us. Since she's been with us, she's stayed in our yard when she's not inside with us. We had a custom cat house built for her that's insulated and she had the run of the yard. I mention this to illustrate the fact that she is very well taken care of. The night she went missing, my husband said she came running up behind him and the dogs. And a few seconds later a black male cat that's the neighborhood bully chased her under a house. My husband waited for her to come out but she never did. The black cat came out from under the house but she didn't. This is a block from our house. I went right back to the house she was under and she was no where to be found. Despite my calls and bringing food, she never showed up. It's against the city ordinance to post lost and found posters. I've posted her picture on Social Media on a Lost and Found page for this area. I've checked with the local animal control office consistently and have spoken to the neighbors in this area. Please, please help me in appealing to St. Felix to intercede on my cats behalf so that she will return safely to her family. Thank you and God Bless you all.

Our cat Hazel got out last night when I was getting the dog out because it was forecasted to get extremely chilly overnight. I'm very concerned for her. A few years back we used to allow our cats to come in and out as they pleased weather permitting. Well my moms cat disappeared and she said she heard something like a bobcat in the cemetery that backs up to our yard that night. I worry for Hazel's safety from other animals as well as the cold and God forbid she get to the main road about an 1/8 of a mile off. Please lift up pleas and prayers to our Father to guard our cat and bring her home. As we speak I hear a pack of wild dogs barking a ways off behind our house. Please ask God with me to bring our sweet girl home safely!

I want to thank st.felix of nola for prayer answered. A dog of a friend, snowie, went missing recently and I started searching for special prayers for lost animals. It turned out that a culprit took sNowie and demanded a huge amount of money. Snowie returned safely and the culprits were caught by the police. It is truly miracle and my faith is strengthened even more in Jesus.

After my Bobby was trapped on a neighbors roof for 5 days and hope was almost lost, I found him. I feel this site helped me keep together along with good peoples prayers.
