We have a puppy, Paddy, coming from interstate on The 16th of February. He'll be picked up around 08:00, driven to the airport, flown down and then we collect him around 16:30. I am helping an out-of-town friend network (and praying, too, of course!) to help these two gentle souls, Chase and Clancy, Golden Retrievers, find a new forever home. Article    Chase and Clancy have lived at the Rectory with Msgr. Frank Wissel @ St. Mary's Parish, Greenwich, Connecticut for the last decade. Msgr. Wissel is now retiring in June to a nursing home but sadly is not permitted to take Chase and Clancy to live with him there. Msgr. Wissel and the Rectory Staff at St. Mary's are looking to place these two lovely fellows together with a family or individual who would give them a new forever home. This is so heartbreaking sad. Can a prayer request please be posted for Chase and Clancy to be blessed with a new loving forever home. Precious thanks,

Prayer Request for Bo the Dog

Please pray for my dog Bo who I had to adopt out. I feel like I betrayed my best friend, bur supposedly a vet was going to adopt him. Her practice took him in not the vet herself. I was devastated as the friend who made the arrangement me she would adopt him her self. It is his vet of 21 years and I believe it was a misunderstanding and I pray that God looks over him. My heart is broken but I will heal up I just hope my dog gets a good home and is treated right he is 10 yrs old a black lab very kind hearted and gentle. God please forgive me and protect my dog.

God please look over my dog Bo a ten year old Black lab who has a kind heart and is very gentle . I pray that he gets a good home as he is up for adoption. A vet was supposed to adopt him herself which is why I did it along with the fact he has health problems. He is at the vets but she is not personally going to adopt him. I pray God you protect him and find him a good home.

Special Prayer Request for Maile the Puppy

Dear Friends: My elderly friend had to make the difficult decision to give up the puppy she adopted. She had lost her beloved dog and was devastated. A well meaning friend adopted the puppy for her. Maile is such a sweet loving pooch. But she is a puppy. That means she is going through the teething stage and is not properly housebroken. My poor friend could not keep up with such a young dog. She is so terribly sad by her decision but she wanted to let her go while is is still cute and adoptable. She did find a home for Maile. Please pray that Maile now has a good home and that my friend is comforted by this difficult decision. Mahalo!

I adopted a 14 year old fabulous cat in March from the Humane Society. He was very scared and ran away the first night I had him. I prayed to St. Francis and posted a link on your website and he returned. It was so powerful and we have made a connection over the months. I love him dearly. More than I thought capable. I am moving to China for a job and I cannot take him with me. I pray that I may find him a home and that he will not go back to the shelter. I would be honored if you could post a link praying that a he finds the right companion and has a happy peaceful life full of love and freedom and safety.

My prayers are with everyone. Orion, our 13.5 y.o. Brittany boy, crossed the Bridge from lymphoma last spring. We still have our moments, but our healing continues.

My request is a little different--my husband and I have decided it's time to adopt a new dog. We want to get another rescue dog. Please pray that we get lead to the right dog so that we can welcome him or her home as soon as possible.

I didn't realize that she would be adopted as I was planning to adopt her myself. Can you please pray that I get her back from the people who adopted her? Please help me find a way to do that also.

Prayer Request for Colt the Dog and Julie

You faithfully prayed for my Springer Sioux last fall when she was diagnosed with lymphoma. I thank you for that. You probably remember that I had to put her down on December 11. I've been very sad since but have felt guilty when thinking of getting another dog.

Tomorrow I'm starting a two week trial with a Springer that I would like to adopt from a local shelter. They estimate his age to be 1 year. He has a lot more energy than Sioux. That will be new for me. He's also a male. That will be new for me. He made me smile last night when I met him. Please pray for me, Colt, the new dog and this new chapter in both of our lives.
