I thought I would share a video of typical Peruvian music. María Dolores Pradera - El rosario de mi madre. It is not the happiest of songs but the music brings back good memories for me.

To celebrate the Feast of San Martincito de Porres (as my mom calls him), a Peruvian family's dinner menu that my mom would prepare for us, would be as follows, for example:

Appetizer: Papa a la Huancaína

Main Course: Lomo Saltado
-or-
Aji de Gallina

Dessert: Arroz con Leche

Beverage:
Alcoholic: Pisco Sour
Non-Alcholic: Chicha Morada Made from purple corn.
