Please pray for my lost cat i miss him so much and im so worried.., what iam feeling now is like a mother who lost her child. I hope and pray that Bulak will soon find his way home or someone bring him back to me. I also pray for others who lost their pet.

Update on Gava the Cat

Thank you, talked to my son last night and the test results came back and little Gava has a bladder infection. The vet has given her some antibiotics to take so hopefully this will clear up for her. Thank you for remembering Gava in prayer and thought.

Good News - Maggie the Dog

From Patty: I want to thank everyone for their wonderful prayers. We (many people in the neighborhood) searched throughout the area for Maggie with no luck. On Sat evening 2/4 at approx. 6:30 my son opened the garage to and thank you God, Maggie ran through to hid under my be in safety. She is happy and healthy. Thank you God.

Feast of St. Blaise - Bishop, Martyr and Healer of Wild Animals

This morning at Mass I learned of another saint who healed animals.  According to legend, because of persecution, he withdrew to a cave in the mountains.  The sick or wounded wild animals would go to look for him for healing.  But they would not interrupt him if he was at prayer.  Then we would heal them.

The following is an excerpt from Butler's The Lives of the Saints:

When persecution arose, he withdrew by divine direction to a cave in the mountains which was frequented only by wild beats. These he healed when they were sick or wounded, and they used to come round him to receive his blessing. Hunters, who had been sent to secure anmals for the amphitheater, found the saint surrounded by the beasts, and, though greatly amazed, they seized him and took him to Agricolaus. On their way they met a poor woman whose pig had been carried off by a wolf; at the command of St. Blaise, the wolf restored the pig unhurt.

Dear St. Blaise, healer of animals that were either wounded or sick, pray for all our pets.

Update on Sarah the Cat

I just wanted to update you on how Sarah is doing. The vets diagnosed her problem as some type of abstraction and after successful surgery they removed a large ball of tinsel. She is recovering beautifully and the prayers worked!
