Dear lord I meant no harm but with these hard times I couldn't any longer afford to take care of my pet like i should have.so we decided to rehome him with no guaranteed of him being healthy.His new owner was disappointed that she had to care for him with a minor sickness please I pray to you for him that she opens her heart for forgiveness understanding and compassion. Worried sick that now shell seek revenge in legal actions foe money. I'm most concerned about the sofa health.

My heart is heavy tonight and I ask for prayers from each of you.
One of the dogs that I fostered, Sunderland, was going to be returned to me tonight from a couple in Chicago that adopted her in May This dog needs a strong leader in order to feel safe and secure. She is exhibiting bad/poor behavior because she is scared. I got a call while I was in route to meet them halfway, that they just can't turn her back over because it's too hard on them. Please pray that they come to the right decision, not for them and their feelings, but for this poor dog. If they think it's hard on them, trying walking in her paws for even an hour and then let's talk. Prayers and positive energy to this couple to do the right thing and return her to me for rehabilitation! AMEN.

We just adopted a 2 y/o dog from a animal rescue in our area. He was a stray and they rescued him from a shelter. We love him so much. Hi Everyone

Yes, we have done it again.

As you all know last week was very painful due to death of my young cousin.

As if that wasn't painful enough, the dog lover Melgoza family went into full gear and rescued another dog who was slowly dying.

After a midnight ER visit, multiple days in the hospital, looking for rescue groups to help me pay for his operation and finally meeting a wonderful ortho surgeon who told me his fracture would heal on his own, this sad phase, I hope, is really over.

When we first met him, he was outside in the rain covered in blood with knots all over his body and limping due to injury in front, right leg. He had been attacked by another dog and really just left for dead. I heard my aunt gave him Tylenol. They wanted to take him to the park to die or for someone to pick him up. Disgusting. So we took him and don't ever plan to give him back (he is not registered to the family).


Every doctor who has met him mention what a "sweet little guy" he is, who would make the ideal pet.

We are not sure if we are going to keep him in the long run.

The above pictures show how tough the little guy has it now.

Beauregard is a gem.

Prayer Request for Abby the Dog

Abby is a one year old red heeler that I adopted 8 weeks ago. She is very shy of strangers and she exhibits fear aggression towards strangers, especially men. I am working with a trainer who tells me she will never be trustworthy around other people and that if I keep her I will always have to be on guard. Please pray that she learns to master her fears and that I learn how to handle her properly so that she is a good companion dog. I don’t know her background except that I am her third home in her first year of life. I feel so sad and somewhat overwhelmed because I’ve never owned a dog that was not outgoing and happy to be petted and be around people.



I don’t want to abandon her, but I can’t keep her if she is going to be aggressive to strangers.



Anxious and sore at heart would describe my feelings now.

Special Prayer Request

Please pray that the right cat will be brought into our lives. It has been a hard year for us pet wise. Our rescue min pin Katie died of pneumonia Feb. 8th, 2010. She was about 8 or 9 years old. In March we adopted 2 older doxies and found out they were heartworm positive so they had to be returned to the shelter as we were not emotionally ready to cope with a major illness in a pet again so soon. A friend ten gifted us an 8 week old min pin puppy we named E.J. It wasn't easy attending to his needs as a puppy and balancing our health issues, but we loved him so much. Unfortunately, on October 2nd, 2010 E.J. was killed by the neighbors lab when E.J. wandered into their yard when my hubby left the gate open and I neglected to make sure all was secure before letting E.J. Outside. My husband tried hard to rescue E.J. And was bitten on the hands. What he witnessed and the injuries I saw the last 5 minutes of E.J.'s young life horrified us both and we thought we would never adopt again. E.J. Was only 6 months old. Never again will we bring a dog into our lives, but we would enjoy an indoor only cat and will be soon adopting. We spend a lot of time alone and it would be great comfort. Thanks and God bless,

My dog has aggression problem and I feel so bad that it took me 5 yrs. to finally realize I need professional help. I know my dog is trying to cooperate with the training and I can see improvement as the day goes by but staying calm and friendly with other dogs and neighbors outside the house appeared to be long process or almost impossible. Faith is the only thing that 's holding me. Pls, help me pray. I want her to be a happy dog, she was given to us for a reason and I am not losing faith and hope. Thanks.
