 From our Facebook page: Please please pray for my cat Bobbi. About a year ago she got poked in the eyeball and almost lost her eye. She didnt and she is having problems today. Please dont tell me to call Vet, obviously I did that first. I need prayers that she will be okay until Vet gets back in town. Thank you.

Prayer Request for Kay's Dog

I need St. Lucy's help with my maltese. Both her eyes need cataract surgery - one more than the other. She has some vision in one but I just can't put her through that stress of six weeks of recovery where her eyes are stitched closed so she won't blink over the stitches in each eye while I'd have to sleep on the floor w/her as she can't jump down off of anything, must wear a hard cone, and be given 3 different eye drops 4x a day for those 6 weeks. 10% chance of failure rate and retina detachment. She's not old. She's only 9 and still plays with her toys but she's running into things, she's hesitant about where she goes, and she needs me. She's off all of her meds that might have given her these cataracts so I'm hoping that with a little bit of time and these drops I was given for inflammation, her eyes will heal. I just want to see her black pupils again. I really need a miracle.

Update on Saydee the Dog

From JL: ...Christmas Eve she began to feel much better! She was finally getting out of her bed and so much more active. Her outgoing, happy, loving and sassy personality seemed to have come back. I could tell her one eye was no longer cloudy and as bulging and the pain was not so bad as she was keeping it opened.
Today she seems to continue improving. She is back to giving huggs and kisses! I am so very thankful.

I have been praying to St Anthony to preform a miracle on her. To take away the pain, the pressure and the glaucoma and not to go in to the other eye. I will pray to St Lucy as well.

Urgent Prayer Request for Saydee the Dog

Please pray for my little dog Saydee (Ig) who was just diagnosed with sudden onset of glaucoma. She is only 5 years old and the prognosis is not good. Her eye pressure in one eye very high. But hoping the eye meds with bring this down very soon. Will be taking her to see a specialist at the UT Vet School next month.

Please pray for her to not have any pain, not go to the other eye, not to become totally blind and to be miracleously healed She is in pain right now. I have prayed to St Anthony. Thank you.

My little four year old cat (Pollyrose for short) was a rescue who had chronic recurring eye inflammations for the first couple years of life. She has not had any for the last couple of years but her right eye is getting cloudy. Please pray for her good eyesight.
