Nicholas the Cat Has Died

Nicholas, Tina's cat who was suffering from cancer, has died.

I.m very sad to say that our nicholas lost his battle to cancer.he brought us much happiness and we love and miss him so. thanks to everyone for their prayers.bless you all tina f.

Please say a prayer for Tina is grieving the death of her beloved pet.

Prayer Request for Emi the Dog

Lisa left the following prayer request for her little chihuahua, Emi:

My little Emi is 8 months old, 2.9lbs. She is the sweetest, most full of life little long haired chihuahua. I recently took her for a spay and found her liver enzyme levels to be very high. After bloodwork after bloodwork, she has some sort of either liver disease or a liver shunt. She is not symptomatic at this present time but the vet says in time she will show signs. My husband and I cannot afford to pay for the diagnostics and surgery/treatment so we are at this time tryng preventative/alternative methods to protect her liver and pray to God her little body will pull through. Please keep her in your prayers that she will be strong enough to fight this off so she can live a long and healthy life with her big brother Chico, who will be turning 5 this month.

Please pray that our cat Cappacheno comes home soon. He has been missing since Sunday, 08-02-09 and has never been gone like this before. My boys are devastated, as am I. He is such a special cat I can't imagine him really being gone. He was a Christmas Eve kitten we adopted on Valentine's Day - please send our little gift back home to us!

Prayer Request for a Very Sick Puppy

reading thru some of these stories makes me sad, but knowing we all have the strength from god, our angels, and all our other supporters gives some comfort. my 7 month old puppy was just diagnosed with a terminal disease by the name of GME it is a disease that attacks the central nervous system and causes high fevers, disoriented swelling of the brain and constant shaking, even seizures, its the hardest thing to watch, she is so little an always falling over herself, i only found out yesterday, and i am so devastated.she is quite ill, and I'm praying so hard so she will be ok, with the disease (lollie) has the chances of survival are very rare, unless treated, because there is no cure, we can just try and relive symptoms with strong medication, please help me pray for her, arc angel Raphael helps with healing animals along with St. Francis and Saint Anthony! your prayers are much appreciated, i will pray for all hear to be healed

I have offered some prayers for Midnight and hope that he returns safely and soon.

Please also pray for my cat Jack. I cant seem to find how to request a prayer on the board. Jack went missing earlier this year and his name is listed on this board. We have recently gone on holiday and had friends looking after him at our house. However when we returned we realised he has probably moved to another house as we were not there. I am heart broken all over again and hope and pray that he will return shortly to see that we are home.

Prayer Request for All Animals in Danger of Being Killed

The following request comes from Erin in Florida.

Because animals do not have a soul like human beings, we will pray instead for those animals in danger of being put down and for their owners that they will find a more humane solution when they no longer want their pet.

This is a prayer request for two unknown cats that were just euthanized this morning, and for the other 100+ dogs & cats that the local animal conrol euthanizes every single week.

Just a couple of hours ago I was at our local animal control shelter to get microchips for my most recently adopted cats. While I was standing there waiting, a lady brought in her two cats to be euthanized. She said she had to put them down because her fiance was allergic to them and she could not find them homes.

I thought the shelter would put them up for adoption, but apparently if you request a euthanization, even on a perfectly healthy animal, they will do it right away. The facility is so understaffed & overburdened, I should not have been surprised. And I know that people like this come in every day. The staff there is very caring- I do not know how they handle the stress.
