Please pray for our dear pet, friend, and family member Ellie. Today we will make the hardest decision we have ever made. Ellie is an incredible 14 1/2 year old black lab. She and I have been therapy dog partners for a little over 6 years and she has spent countless days in my classroom positively impacting hundreds of students. I am devastated to lose her, but pray that her memory will live on forever in the people she touched, and with God's will, my family will find the healing necessary and that we may see her again one day. We love you so much Ellie! Thank you everyone for your prayers for Ellie, our family, and for her dear friend Bandit who remains with us.

Dear St Martin of Porres, humble servant, a heart to please God's heart, you always embraced the struggling and suffering. Please bring our prayers before the throne of God, that Esther will be consoled in the loss of Ellie, her dear partner and friend, and that memories of the love they shared, and the kind acts and good works they performed together will remain with her, strengthening her and mixing her sorrow with gratitude, joy and satisfaction for a life well spent.
It is in helping others, and in our afflictions, that Christ draws closest to us. May Esther feel His comfort today, and always, until the day when He personally wipes all the tears from her eyes and tells her, "Behold, my beloved, I am the Alpha and the Omega, and I make all things new!"
