Elle leaving has shattered my already weakened heart.
I woke up at 3:56 am - the exact moment she "slipped away" as the doctor said.
Upon awakening from a badly needed nap this afternoon, I reached over to pat Elle who always naps with which ever of us in napping mode, and there was an empty space.
