Prayer Request - Harley Quinn the Cat

The following request was left by Diana:

Today is my 18th birthday. Last night I prayed to have a safe and happy birthday today.

However when I woke up this morning I found that my cat Harley Quinn was missing. My mother could have sworn she was in her room but I called and called her and even tried to bribe her with food to come out. Then I proceeded to look for her in all of her known hiding spots, she wasn't in any of them.

My cat has had a history of darting out of the home if people aren't quick to close the door and I'm especially worried about this because shes currently in heat and so I'm sure her hormones are all wacky.

I ask for assistance in praying for her return home to me. If it is god's will. I don't care if she's pregnant at this point I just want her home with me where she is loved and adored and safest.

We found her last night at 4am in stuck in a neighbors grill.

Even though we had some trouble getting her out of there im happy to report that she is safe and sound.

Prayer for My Pet

In Your infinite wisdom, Lord God,
when You created the Universe
You blessed us with all living creatures.
We especially thank You for giving us our pets
who are our friends and who bring us so much joy in life.
Their presence very often helps us get through trying times.
Kindly bless my pet.
May my pet continue giving me joy and remind me of Your power.

May we realize that as our pets
trust us to take care of them, so we should trust You to take care of us,
and in taking care of them we share in Your love for all Your creatures.
Enlighten our minds to preserve all endangered species
so that we may continue to appreciate all Your creatures.

Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

O God,
for our friends, the animals, especially for animals who are suffering:
for animals that are over-worked,
under-fed and cruelly treated;
for all wistful creatures in captivity

We entreat for them all
your mercy and pity,

The Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called "The Rainbow Bridge" because of its
many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge,
there is a land of meadows, hills and
valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm Spring
weather.
Those old and frail animals are young again.
Those who have been maimed are made whole again.
They play all day with each other.
But there is only one thing missing.
They are not with their special person who
loved them on earth.
So, each day, they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up.
The nose twitches, the ears are up, the eyes are staring, and this one runs from the group.
You have been seen.
When you and your special friend meet,
you take him or her in your arms and embrace.
Your face is kissed again and again.
You look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet. Then, you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.
