Please pray for our 5 year old white collie Tiffany. She has been knuckling over on her left front foot and dragging the nails on the left front and back feet down to blood. We are out of our minds with worry and upset. I have anointed her with Holy Water and Blessed oils. We are waiting for the results of a thyroid test and I am hoping that low thyroid will be her problem as it is a much better outcome than the rest of what this could be.

Urgent Prayer Request for Grey Goose the Cat

Grey Goose my DLH cat, went missing Monday night last week. On Tuesday a neighbor spotted him, at 2:18 am, thrashing round her yard as if having a siezure. I felt it could have been poison, and was in despair he had died. I prayed and many others with me. Our prayers were answered almost one week later, tonight at 11:38 pm, he apeared on my front steps.

But I need more prayer, he is definitely badly injured. He goes to the vet tomorrow. His eye on the left side is swollen as if something may be broken (jaw or eye bone?) and infected. Worse, he cannot walk straight, he flops and staggers like a drunken sailor, as if he has no coordination. I do not know if he has had a stroke from poison, or nerve damage, what ever it is a I am fearful he will not regain his coordination, balance and ability to walk normally. Please pray for a miracle again, the recovery of my dear Grey Goose from whatever trauma or poison he has been exposed to, so he has full mobility and health, and his customary balance and agility.

Thank you so much for your prayers for D.C.'s return. GREAT NEWS!!! D. C. returned. The neighbor's granddaughter saw a black cat matching D. C.'s description wandering in the tall grasses behind our properties a few evenings in a row. Sure enough, it was him. He is now home safe and sound. A little lighter weight, but none for the worse.

Urgent Prayer Request for Bart the Cat

I would like to ask for a prayer request for my kitty Bart. Bart came to us last year, so hungry he walked right into a humane trap, just so he could eat. He was afraid but he trusted us. Since then, he has become a beautiful cat and Jack, one of our dogs, has become his best friend. Two days ago, Bart became sick and now he is in the vet with a fever, no diagnosis and no improvement. He really deserves to live a long and happy life, since he started out under such miserable conditions.
I have read such heartbreaking emails on your blog and I pray for recovery, return and peace for each animal and the people who so dearly love them.

This is my cat Buster. I haven't had him very long, about 4 months I found
him in an abandoned house and brought him home and took him to the vet. He
rides with me to work everyday (I clean out foreclosed homes) and watches over me while I work. He has helped other animals while we were out. He found a turtle in a window well and was able to get me to find it and release it. He disappeared from home three days ago now. I am praying for his safe return and hoping his curiosity didn't get him trapped in a shed or some other hidey hole, those are his favorites. I miss my work buddy.

Another Prayer Request for Meanie the Cat

Hello, all. I am once again asking you to pray for my Meanie. As you may recall, she had her right hind leg amputated in Feb when they found a cancer. It was an awful week full of screaming and hissing and confusion, but we made it through together. She was never a mommy's girl, but ever since I stayed home to help her through her recovery she has not left my side. She even sleeps by me and we hold onto each other. (I have always loved her, but until now she has been a daddy's girl-- now we are just about inseparable!) I truly think she knows how much I care for her and what my intentions were with the surgery.
Last week, I noticed a bald spot on the right side of her nose. I am hoping that this is just my paranoia, but this is how the tumor on her leg began. It has been a mere four months since she was put through all of that torture. Please pray that this is just my overactive imagination and that it is not the start of another tumorous growth. I hate to think that I put her through such hell for just four months of life. I know the power of prayer, as I did not think she would make it through even that first week after surgery, but your prayers were heard. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She is only about ten, and has so much energy (I think she's faster on 3 legs than she was on 4!) and love for life, and has been through so much already this year. Update - Salvador the Dog

Thank you Esther, after his CT scan yesterday, it turns out the mass is not a thyroid cancer,and that Salvador has an osteosarcoma. It is distressing as he must be in so much pain! It has eaten away his 2nd rib. We pray his last few days with us will be as pain free as possible, and also for the courage to know when the time is right to let him go to God. Thank you for your prayers.

Update on Link the Cat

Thank you to you and your readers for praying for Link. Link's ultrasound went generally well. The vet diagnosed him with polycystic kidney disease. However, we are very lucky because Link only has cysts on one kidney. So, Link has one perfectly healthy kidney. This is very, very rare. Most cats with polycystic kidney disease are not so fortunate. It is quite possible that Link may lead a normal cat life. Please continue to pray for the health of Link's good kidney. We are currently quite hopeful about Link's future.

Fantastic news! Sammy's lump was a sebaceous cyst. The vet emptied it--it was full of white stuff. And he's OK!! He didn't like it, but he was very good, very LOUD, in his carrier, but very good. Every one at the clinic are very nice and the vet has a lot of experience. I feel like a million ton weight has been lifted. God told me not to worry, but, of course, I go off the deep end. Hopefully now I'll learn to listen.

Our prayers have been answered! After tearing down a half wall in my son's room and calling in another favor to my friends husband who is a contractor.. He came at 9:30 tonight and was able to help us locate the floor joists that he thought she was between. We then cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling that is under the bathroom where she went in... we could hear her, but couldn't see her. Then we made the hole bigger to get into the next joist and my friend could see her nose and feet under the next joist.. we were about to give up for the night and hope she could find the hole during the night.. we slipped water and food up there, but I just had to give it one more try.. I wedged my head up into the hole and the ceiling.. and then the most glorious sound... IZZY! then I saw her little siamese head and a grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and pulled her out of the hole in the ceiling!! THANK YOU GOD! and Thank you for all your prayers! She is now looking at me... like "what just happened"... THANK YOU!

Urgent Prayer Request for Bracco the Dog

Please pray for my dog Bracco...who is a 12 year old German Shepherd.....he has a large tumor in his abdomen and also the vet said something strange was seen on his liver from the ultrasound. Tomorrow June 4th 2010 - he will have surgery to remove the large tumor - but i am afraid it might be cancer or something worse....i always prayed to God that he would live to 15 in good health and when it is his time to go - God would take him peacefully on God's terms (not by me putting him down). I have had my share of animals - my first animal (family dog when i was young) had to be put to sleep as it had distemper. Then our next family dog lived 9 years and died by bleeding to death of a hemorrage. This picture is still in my mind. My next dog - also German Shepherd - Black/Tan - developed Epileptic seizures- finally had to put her to sleep.
