Sad News - Cookie Monster the Dog

From Brian: We said good-by to my friend of almost 14 years tonight. Cookie Monster was getting a little worse every day. We spent the day together as usual. We took a long car ride and a short walk. She passed over the rainbow bridge surrounded by her family. She had many friends and admirers. She was a wonderful companion and I am not sure how I will manage the next few weeks. Thanks for your prayers, Brian & Robin

Urgent Prayer Request for a Yemen Zoo

From Barbara:

Could I please request prayers for the animals in the Taiz zoo in Yemen please? They are only being kept alive by some kind people who are donating money to a charity that is feeding them and are not getting enough money to feed them all the time. Only a few bother to donate. They have currently run out of money and the animals will now not eat till they have enough money again. Some have died in the past. There are two domestic cats and two dogs there as well as 280 other animals. Some of the big cats are endangered species. The government authorities will not feed them or sign permits to release them to other sanctuaries which have agreed to take them. It is a terrible situation for the animals. If anyone wants to view the animals they can be seen on a website called “A Lions Heart.org” I am not trying to raise money, I just want prayers for with God nothing is impossible. Prayers for food and prayers to change the heart of the governing authorities.

Prayer Request for Cookiedough the Cat

From comment section:

My cat 12 year old outside cat, Cookiedough, went missing about 1 week ago. The longest she's ever been away from home is about four to five days. Normally she'll come back in the evening after being out for a couple of hours, but she's been gone for so long and I'm starting to get really worried. Cookiedough has been my baby since I was five and I don't want to lose her now. There are so many things that could have happened to her and she hasn't come back no matter how many times I go out to call her. Please help me to pray for her safe return! Thanks in advance!

Prayer Request for Princess the Cat

From Dawn:

Please pray for my mother’s cat Princess. She is suffering from pancreatitis. She has lost weight and has lost energy. This is my mother’s companion. After my mother was hospitalized for months after brain cancer treatment, her biggest worry was her cat. Princess means a great deal to her. This is the first time she has been sick with this illness. I ask for prayers for her healing and recovery so that she can continue to be a great source of comfort and company to my mother. Thank you.
