Urgent Prayer Request for Wing Chun the Bird

From John:
I stumbled upon this site looking for a pray for my beloved bird Wing Chun. She is a starling I found almost 14 years ago, not knowing how much she would become such a cherished pet. She's going blind in one eye and I ask for anyone to pray for her sight and that she doesn't lose all her sight. I love this bird so much, I have very bad health and I'm alone but no matter how sick I am she can always put a smile on my face. I always felt God sent me this angel to get me threw tough times. I know all who post here know how I feel, she's like my child I never had children so my pets were my family. I lost all my other animals over the last 40 years, she's the last one. Thank all who prays for her and God bless.
We pray for Wing Chun's healing through the intercession of St. Lucy patron saint of eyesight. Also, please keep John in your prayers.

  3. Hi to all, I wrote this request several years ago and my baby wing chun did pretty good, we drove around In my rv and we clocked in about 10,000 miles together.
Sadly my baby and best friend past this morning at 17 1/2yrs old, not bad for a starling.
I'm quite devastated by the loss, I'm a very ill man and she was my guardian Angel, I feel very lost and alone, I'm sure all understand.
I can't wait for the day to meet up with her and
my other buddys waiting for me.
I miss her so, I believe she's flying around having a good time now.
God bless you all and your cherished pets.

    1. Thank you, it's gonna take a while for my loss to sink in, being disabled with only a couple family members scattered around the east coast it was basically just us together 24/7.
I do thank God for a couple close friends that are helping me through this, I feel so lost without her.
Thank you for your prays, and God bless.

  9. I thank everyone for there comments, it helps me feel a little better.
The last week has been really tough for me, I've been living in my motorhome for the last 3 years and wing chun has been next to me everyday and night, except the times I was hospitalized, and could always make me smile, no matter how sick and in pain I was in she could always make me feel better, she was my little Angel from heaven.
I can't believe she is gone, and I'm really finding it hard getting through the day's without her, my motorhome feels so empty and I feel so alone. I know I'll get through this with the help of God, but it's going to be a while, for such a small bird she took up a large part of my heart.
I pray for everyone on this site and there pets and thank all for there prays for me. I wish everyone a happy and healthy new year for them and there pets.
    God bless

  10. My husband had a bird that lived to be 17. He still grieves her passing. It's been two years already. Amazing how we can become so attached to God's little creature. We hope you have a very blessed New Year.
