Please keep my mother's dog in your prayers. He has been fighting an infection in his leg which also has a growth. He reinjured himself and is having trouble walking. He is in a great deal of pain. Thanks so much!
From Kyle, Meredith and KM:
Please pray for our Jack. He is in the hospital fighting infections caused by diabetes. We really don't know if he will make it. We please need a miracle. We only rescued him two years ago from a hoarder home. He should get more years. He also has a buddy at home who misses him so much. They are supposed to grow old together. Please help us with this miracle. Love, Kyle, Meredith and KM.
Just received an email from Sabrina:
Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse on Friday. My father took Porscha in for the ultra sound because she was weak and did not accept the medication. The results showed she had several tumours in her intestines and she was losing a lot of blood. The vet told my family she was suffering and it was her time to rest. After a very long day and final good byes, they laid her to rest on Friday afternoon. I was not aware that any of this had happened until Saturday afternoon on my way home from the airport. My family didn't want to share the bad news with me until I got home. It has been a rough fews day, knowing I did not get to say good bye to her is the hardest part. Please keep her and her family, specifically her dear father, in your prayers as they mourn the loss of their beloved dog.
Porscha was always a kind, and loving dog, who knew what you were feeling. She was always there to greet you at the door and to welcome you home. She never put up a fight, and always behaved. She knew how to make you smile and how to brighten your day. She was the first thing you saw in the morning when you came down the stairs and the last thing you saw before bed. Now, she will live in our hearts forever and be with the angels watching down on us.
Esther thanks to you and the prayers warriors who created hope and kept her in your thoughts. You and your followers are all loving people. My family appreciates all your support.
I ask that you continue to pray for us, especially my dad at this very difficult time for all of us.
I know that prayer is powerful and does help, this is why i reached out to you. I read the blog, it amazes me that there are so many kind people that truly have a love for animals and their wellbeing. I am so happy I found your blog and email address, I think what you are doing is amazing and truly helps create hope - I know it has for me! Some good news... The vet did another blood test today and found a parasite in her blood, that is eating her blood. He is going to try to give her medication before doing the blood transfusion. For now, we are all somewhat relieved that it's not a deadly disease she is suffering from.

Thank you so much... as usual. God bless all of you. We found her a day or so later, I sent a photo of her to my neighbours by sms and she appeared shortly after. I think she could have been stuck in a garage. Anyway she is tonight spending the night in hospital after being attacked by the neighbours cat :( I took her in and she has a fever. I'm so upset and I can't believe it. I just pray I will hear good news in the morning.

Ted is a bichon, he had thyroid problems but is now medicated. Now he has lost a lot of weight and is found to be anaemic. The vets are at a loss, each test leaves them saying "hmmmm, well that doesn't tell me anything" and now they have him scheduled for a bone marrow biopsy on May 2nd and I guess they're looking for cancer or an immuno problem, both don't have good prognosis. I'm autistic so Ted is more than my dog, he's my companion and my gateway to this world. Please hold him in your prayers. Thank you Trevor

MOLLIE 9 yro schipperke (dog) just diagnosed with DIABETES and CUSHINGS DISEASE She is having problems with her sight right now but she is so happy to hear our voices. From the owner:
My Yorkie Bubbles is currently undergoing treatment for kidney damage. Her BUN levels are high and the vet has so far been unsuccessful in lowering them. We're waiting to hear the latest test results in about 2-3 hours. My girl is 11 years old and is MY LIFE. I love her beyond words. Please pray that the healing power of Our Lord will make her whole again so she can come back home. THANK YOU.

I am on vacation and just learned some very sad news - my family dog I grew up with is very sick. Her hemoglobin level is half of what it should be and she is no longer eating. She needs a blood transfusion and tomorrow she will have an ultra sound to get to the route of the problem. Porscha is a 12 year old chocolate lab, and she is the most sweetest thing ever..literally wouldn't harm a fly. My father flew home tonight to tend to her, but I'm still out of town, feeling very helpless from miles away. I know that age is not on her side, but I'm hoping you can pray for her that I will be able to get home on Saturday to give her all my love if it is her time. Please pray that she is not suffering and that she knows we are here to comfort her. I hope you get this desperate cry for help. I'm far away from her and at this point this is the only way I can help my family out. Thank you for listening
I have a request for prayer support, for my sister's old kitty, Cleo. Here is a copy/paste of the email my sister just now sent to me: "Well, poor little Cleo...I got a "kit" yesterday to collect a urine sample so the vet can analyze it. Any way, it's pretty obvious that she's sick. Blood in her urine. So hopefully I can get an appointment this afternoon to take her in with the sample ... I'll let you know what happens...poor little thing, I know just what she's going through. I just hope it's something that a kitty pill will fix. I had the talk with her last night that we won't be having any surgery or extended stay at the vet Soooo......." Thank you so much... Sincerely,

From Lou Ann:
. I had not heard anything further for several weeks after the initial prayer request for Franky, the St. Bernard, in danger of being euthanized and from what I'm gathering in overall danger in his current situation. I just got an e-mail from the gentleman who is working so valiantly with a group of folks in their town to protect Franky, and apparently another dog with Franky. A very sad situation indeed. This group working for Franky has secured good homes that would welcome both Franky and another dog who truly are in grave danger in their current situation. Unfortunately the hearing/town hall meeting had been delayed these last weeks for some type of administrative reason, but is now scheduled for Monday evening, 4/23, and prayers are requested on behalf of Franky and his canine pal. So sad as the family who currently have Franky and other dog are described as very 'disturbed and dysfunctional' and they see the entire issue as more them against authority, and have no concern for the well-being of either dog. Truly heart-wrenching. If you could just repeat the original post for prayers for Franky and his canine pal - would be so appreciated. I'm dashing at the moment and when I got word thought I'd update you right away. Thanks so much ..., and always God Bless you for this precious ministry for our precious pets, especially those in danger and need.

Her name is Peeps. Yellow and white Cocketiel. She flew away sat. Someone spotted her Sun. She would not come down out of the tree. Flew away again. Found her Monday and she flew away then too. No trace of her today. Please pray for her safe return. We were hoping she would go back to her cage which is on the front lawn. She is only 1 year old and there are many hawks around. She belongs to my preteen daughter who is distraught. Her whole face is swollen from the crying. We really miss her and need her to come home. This is a very nice website. I have prayed for every post I read. So tough when we have a lost or sick pet. I wish you all well.

Could you please add my 11 year old Beagle/Sheltie mix to your prayer roll. He ingested some raisins and is currently hospitalized receiving IV therapy. He will be hospitalized for a while yet. We are hoping and praying he does not develop renal failure. Any added prayers would be so appreciated. We love this little guy with all our hearts.
Thank you so much!

I hope you are well. It appears the last two prayer requests I sent you may have been answered as Rocky seems to be doing ok. I will be getting him examine and fixed very soon! Also, the Black Tuxeo Kitty, Francine, is also doing very well. However, I still have not recovered either of the two cats from the email request below. One, the black one, I know had some kind of paw injury when I saw her. I have not seen her recently and have been focusing most of my time on my cat, Tommy, who was very, very sick with a urinary tract blockage an operation with complications. He now seems to be doing well but still needs prayers. I am really worried about the black kitty and the one-eyed kitty. Please pray that the Black one has not already left us. I feel really guilty that I had to focus on Tommy lately. I am hoping she did not die of that injury or something else. Please pray that she is still alive and ok and I am able to get her and get her the medical attention she needs. I really need her to be ok or I will be so upset and guilty as I already am. I am spread so thin. I need some signs to help me believe as well that prayers are answered. Please pray for my faith as well.
So immediate prayers are needed for:
To Help My Faith, I Need Some Signs Outside of Probability
Any advice I would appreciate.
Thank you so much and thanks for your help.

I ask for your prays for barney the vet said he thinks it is his kidneys failing he is very dehydrated and has lost his body mass right now he is in the hospital but it does not look to good for him he is a fighter and does not give up easy so I pray he makes it he is my whole life
I have found you by google. I wanted to know how I can pray for some dogs I hear. I pray to God daily but I guess I just wanted to see if others can help me too. I am currently in Cairo Egypt with my husband who is having to work overseas right now until April 29th. We have been here since August and some things I have witnessed will bring tears to anyone's eyes that care about living things. We are living in a up and coming neighborhood in the outskirts of Cairo near the university he teaches at and some of the villas are empty and not even developed. Many Egyptians attitudes toward dogs are different than ours in that they are not concerned in general about their well being at all and the religion plays a part in their treatment. Many Muslims believe Angels will not come near dogs, dogs are filthy and cannot share human space...etc so they use them for security purposes. Someone who owns an empty villa near our has two dogs chained up inside. Keep in mind there is no electricity running inside that building and I have not seen anyone go in or out. I can hear them crying all night and day. I cannot get inside that building as it is chained around the iron doors and gates. Since the building is empty the sound resonates outside loud and it is heart breaking for me. I have my dog Coco with me and it bothers him too. The 2 dogs sound as if they are in misery and I can do nothing for them. We have spoken to other neighbors and they do not know who owns it but they said that this is very common in Egypt. Many people put them on roof tops or in empty property to guard it. Their idea of guarding is simply tying a dog up..any dog in a place. Most Egyptians are afraid of dogs so it works. I have also heard from other Americans that have lived here for some time that the way they do train some security dogs is horrifying. We have seen deplorable conditions in pet stores and I am becoming more and more sick of what I see. How can any society treat living beings in such a way? How can a religion call for the treatment or neglect from an innocent animal. I know there will be Muslims that will defend the religion by saying they do respect animals but from what I have seen and heard with my own ears from Muslims themselves is that dogs in general are unclean and unfit to be pets and they are deeply mistreated here. I am pleading to you to please post a prayer request from the information I have sent you for these 2 dogs I hear day and night. I know these dogs are suffering and I can do nothing to help them. We have no idea how to contact the owners and I have waited by my window for 5 days now with no sight of any living thing entering this building to feed them. Their cries are becoming louder and louder. I am hoping that with people's help that God will help these animals. I also would like to pray for all the other tied up and forgotten about dogs all around this country suffering. They have dog fights here and they are not illegal so I am told! Please put in a prayer for these poor innocent animals. I can hardly wait to leave this month.

I want to thank you, the website and all its visitors for the support you gave me when my kitty Pisi went missing. I am happy to say that she was found after 3 weeks half a mile away from home - she was 'visiting' a nice couple and climbing to their balcony on the 5th floor. Luckily, the couple took pictures of her and posted them on a missing pets group online and that's how we found her. I think it was truly a miracle, since we live in one of the biggest cities in the world, it's so crowded and there are millions of stray cats on the streets. I truly believe in the power of prayers!
I will be sending positive thoughts to all the pets in need and their owners on this wonderful website! Thank you again for all your support!
Thank you all very much for all your prayers, our dear Boni is still in a serious condition and her future is uncertain, please keep praying for her and my daughter Natalie and son in law Felipe they are suffering a great deal with their much loved Boni.
Blessings to all.

Please pray for my 10month old Maltese Terrier named Reeree. She was in the dog hospital since thursday and her platelet count is getting lower and lower everyday despite the treatments. The findings show that she has Canine Ehrliciosis or Canine Tick Disease. She's my first pet and I love her so much. It's so hard for my family and I to see her go through this. Please pray for her and all the rest who are in pain. Thank you.
Hoping to hear from you.

Last night my little Pudgy got of his kennel at a friends farm and darted in to the woods. They tried to get him but only frightened him. I went to help but he was already to scared to come to me. We went out this morning to check the woods again, leaving food out for the night just in case, but there was no sign of him. We searched again tonight, still with no luck. He is not even a year old yet and he is a pitbull. He is so very kind and gentel, especially with women and he loves to be babied. I fear for him, and I am afraid of how lonely he is or if he is hurt. Please pray he finds his way home, or let me dream of him safely in the lap of God.
Please pray for Gray's safe return to us. He is a gray and white tabby who hasn't been seen since Sunday night, April 1. We love him so much and pray that he is okay and will come back to us. And we pray for all other pet owners who are missing the beloved pets.
My friend and her 2 boys have lost their cat ' Sophie' an 8 month old tabby with white face and front. The boys cried themselves to sleep last night.
We live in Brantford , Ontario, Canada.
Please can she be added to the prayer list?
My girls and myself have prayed to St .Anthony as well.

From Bernice: Thank you for your prayers for Tonka. The wonderful news is that she did not have be euthanized and is doing much better. She is starting to regain her balance and is interested in eating again. She appears to have "idiopathic vestibular disease", an acute onset disorder that usually affects older dogs causing them to lose their sense of balance and coordination. It occurs rapidly, without any warning and is very frightening, but will resolve over time. Please pray that her symptoms will continue to go away quickly. She is such a gentle, sweet girl. Once again, thank you so much for your prayers. Bernice.
Monday, April 2, 2012
My little dog Tonka urgently needs prayer. She has lived for a number of years with a large inoperable tumor on her left hip. She has been happy and healthy in spite of an initial grim prognosis but tonight she is suddenly stumbling and falling even though she seems otherwise alert. If she's not better by morning (approx. 12 hours from now) my husband thinks we should take her to the vet and have her put down so she won't suffer. I can't bear to think about this. She would be frightened and I don't want her last hours to be in a strange place. She has been my constant companion for many years. Please pray that she will live out her days happy and able to walk and that, when her time comes, she slips away peacefully at home where she is so loved. Thank you so very much.
Could you please pray for my 10 month old kitten, Gus? The vet recently found that he has a heart murmur when we brought him in for failure to gain weight over the past month. He's going to see a specialist on Tuesday to get a heart ultrasound to see if he's got HCM or a structural defect.
Could you please say a prayer for my beloved dog, Brawley? He is in his last days here. He has been such a wise and loving teacher to me, and was my first "baby" before having kids. He deserves so much good. Please pray that his passing is as peaceful as possible. Thank you!
Please keep Marty in your prayers too! Mahalo!
